Base 8: Deeper Into The Human Anatomy

In base eight, we dive deeper into human anatomy where the focus is on drawing hands, feet, eyes, ears and the mouth and nose by using composition, design and Gestalt principles. Composition is a crucial element of art. It teaches the artist to arrange and combine different elements to avoid clustering their artwork. In the design module, you will learn about constructing the finer elements of the human body.

Last but not least, you will learn about Gestalt principles which have to do with similarity, continuation, closure, proximity, figure, symmetry & order. All of which is necessary when drawing human figures to convey realism in your art work.
