Base 7: The Basics of Human Anatomy

In base seven, we are focusing on understanding the basics of human anatomy by using composition, design and Gestalt principles. Composition is a crucial element of art. It teaches the artist to arrange and combine different elements to avoid clustering. In the design module, you will learn about constructing the human body including the face.

Last but not least, you will learn about Gestalt principles which have to do with similarity, continuation, closure, proximity, figure, symmetry & order. All of which is necessary when drawing human figures to convey realism.
