Mpumelelo Ndaba
“Absorb everything! It all serves a purpose”
born in Umlazi, KwaZulu Natal in South Africa. He is a contemporary practising artist. He portrays portraits of various famous artists using software called Adobe Illustrator Draw.
He started practising art at a very young age and then studied visual art at Ogwini Secondary School; from there he continued studying art at the Durban University of Technology where he graduated with a Diploma of Fine Art. He is a self-taught digital illustrator, who also practices painting and drawing.
His interest in art is more in digital illustration where he portrays a representation of various famous artists around the world who he admires. He recreates portraits of these famous artists and forms an eye-catching realistic cartoon style. Mpumelelo has exhibited in group exhibitions around Durban in, Durban University of Technology Art Gallery and Durban Art Gallery.
